Vehicle Detail
I am not really looking for any trades, just needing some $ for other projects, bid to win The reserve is very low for the quality. Everything is solid, NO rust-through ANYWHERE,only "rust"is minimal surface due to being a daily driver, but my 2004 GMC 2500 has more than this Jeep, because the Jeep sits in the garage! SOLID body, SOLID frame, only "problem" is still haven't taken the time to track down why the gauges do-not work, (but they are all new w/ new sensors &/or sending units, & all new wiring approx. 6yrs ago), 4:10 gears, 258 w/ TBI, Automatic TF999, all new mechanical seals just done fall of last year, including the rear end & axle end seals & bearings, new valve cover gasket, new exhaust,(2-1/2"ALL the way) about 4yrs ago, racing brake booster, (dual diaphragm for 35"tires), VERY nice. I have been watching ones on ebay, & my reserve price is way more than fair, I think it tears me up all the time, $ I have in it & owning it for the last 6yrs my reserve is super cheap, (especially when you consider buying another one cheap & all the $ you WILL spend to get it to this ones current status). Most of this jeep is stock parts, for ease of replacing parts, only major upgrades are the TBI, bigger master cylinder, lift, new shocks, rims & tires, one piece moser axles, led front turn signals & lower gearing I believe 4:10. This jeep was stripped down to the frame, then POR15 the frame, then paint with all new wiring approx. 8yrs ago was the start of this project, odometer reads almost 10,000 mi, which is when all the gauges & wiring were replaced, I have no way to know exact mileage that is on the jeep itself, as the new speedometer was on it when I bought it, but over the years I've replaced rear diff. seals, axle seals etc.. & everything looked great internally, the rear diff looked about new still, just this last year! This has been my daily driver for the last 6yrs & I mean daily driver, in the snow rain etc.. it has been dependable for me to the max, when not in use it sits in a climate controlled garage. Negatives are few & to me not really a huge deal, but want to be as honest as I can be, the windshield although has a new seal still leaks when it rains, the gauges do not work, although as mentioned above everything is new, I replaced everything, so it has to be a ground somewhere, the rear by the gas filler neck the paint is bubbled & discolored due to leaving it sit on a trail on an angle, with a fresh tank of gas in 102 degree weather, it ran out & immediately baked, a couple paint imperfections but seriously few, the tires are 33"x 12.5x15 with mud tires for the trails, the tires do have trail rash, one tire has actually been booted on the sidewall, (see close up pic), other the one tire, they are pretty decent shape & all are about 60% tread, overall everything considered, I'd give it a solid 8 on a 1-10 scale. I didn't cover the frame with fresh paint or do anything to hide anything so you could see what it is, NO rot, NO damage, 100% solid! Basically its simple, if you know what an 8 is I feel you will love this one, if you are looking for a Cadillac off the showroom floor go buy it, this is a pleasure to drive anywhere but it is NO Cadillac ride if you are familiar with any CJ you already know that. I tried to take pictures of the normal problem areas for these cj's so you could see there aren't any, I also loaded these in groups together but for some reason ebays system jumbled them up so sorry about that I tried! I included one picture of how I had it set up with the 35" tires these are NOT included in the auction, I'm using them for another project, just wanted to show how they fit, the 35" tires do not rub at all. I am only selling to move onto another project the whole family can go in. Buying as-is with no warranties expressed nor implied $500 non-refundable paypal deposit within 24hrs unless you set something else up with be before you buy. Time to see it/drive it before you buy it is always welcomed & encouraged! I am asking $8600 locally & reserve the right to end this listing at any time due to local sale. I prefer NOT to ship, but will assist if this is your desire but it will be additional $ on your end & at your risk Email me with any questions or offers & I'll get back with you asap, except for Sat. & Sun., I work 16hr shifts & the internet usage is limited, so if you ask something these 2days I will not respond until late, so don't expect quick turnaround on the weekend, but Mon. -Fri. should be pretty fast on responses. thank you for your time, Rich
