I'm listing this for my computer challenged boss. This is a 1957 Ford Thunderbird. It is very original and little has been done to it over the years. The body appears to have been repainted maybe once a few years ago. The color is Flame Red and the data plate on the firewall has verified this. The red paint has faded from sitting in the sun but is still attractive. The hardtop is Colonial White and this was also on the data plate. My boss had the hardtop repainted a few weeks ago. The body is very straight with no dents or dings. The hood, trunk, and doors open and shut properly. The door hinges are in great shape. The body does have a few paint chips by the trunk and hood openings. The weather stripping is cracked and hard. The trim has some light pitting. The body is mostly solid aside from some rust on the passenger side rocker panel that has been repaired cosmetically but not up to restoration standards. One rust spot under the hardtop weatherstripping, also cosmetically repaired. Has both fender skirts but bracket was damaged on passenger side. The car has the 312 engine with Holley 4 barrel carburetor. The engine starts right up and runs good. The starter struggles on hot restart. Newly rebuilt generator. The Fordomatic transmission shifts fine. Leaks some fluid underneath. There are no strange noises. The engine doesn't smoke or overheat. The radiator looks original and has the metal overflow tube. The engine has the dress-up kit with the Thunderbird valve covers. The car runs, drives, and rides fine. The floor pans and trunk floor are solid. The interior is in good shape. The seats have no tears or rips. It has no splits or cracks. The vacuum wipers will go up when turned on but do not go back and forth as they should. The car has power windows. Driver's side is not working. The car has seat belts. The trunk has its original mat. There is a spare and a jack in the trunk.
