Rare Unrestored 1941 Pontiac Torpedo Streamliner Deluxe with only 43,400 original miles and in unbelievable original condition…from the interior to the exterior this car is in amazing shape …excellent mechanical shape…runs so smooth, lots of power…I would drive this fastback sedan from California to New York without hesitation…reliable!…needs nothing mechanical…flat 6 and transmission are like new…shifting is a breeze, so called semi automatic in 41 brochure…car drives perfectly on a very soft and quiet comfortable ride…The interior is a amazing time warp to a well preserved interior…smells great!! The interior is all original and has no evidence of any wear....all the chrome and steering wheel/Knobs bakelite is excellent...no hairline cracks or chips anywhere Art deco dash lights green at night and is perfect , trim, headliner are as good as one could imagine for a car over 65 years old . windows, doors open and close like new…all original door weatherstripping and seals are excellent and do not need replacement. original carpet in the car and trunk cardboard would only need a light cleaning for show. chrome and stainless are very good to excellent…everything works except for clock and radio hums, but no music…(I think it’s the antenna)…Car came with all the options in 41, floor heater , deluxe radio, deluxe steering wheel, GM guide spot lamp, NOS Cat-eye driving lamps were added…White wall tires are in great shape, but show some age cracking …..also comes with many, many pcs of original literature…even a 1941 dealer banner for service workmanship. NO RUST…This car is such a pleasure to drive and draws attention everywhere…the midnight black with the brilliant chrome work gives this car a limousine stately appearance…this car is 98.5/100 and would take little to make a show quality car…but the slight patina is so great , I wouldn’t do a thing to this old gal, but enjoy it on Sunday drives…Car also comes with original jack, tool kit, and original silver pinstriped rims (current solid rims on car are from a 38 buick). Car is sold as-is, where is and questions are welcome, spare parts include NOS coil, bumper guards, hupcaps, and original 4 red rims with silver pinstripe.(excellent shape!)
