1979 10TH ANNIVERSARY LIMITED EDITION TRANS AM Up for bids is a beautiful privately owned '79 10th Anniversary Trans am. If you know what you are looking at then I don't need to describe the rarity of this car and how little were produced. It is a number matching low mile car that still runs & drives as it came out of the showroom back in '79. It has had one repaint & decal set over the years, but has been driven only in nice weather & mainly to car shows. It has been just taken out of storage of approximately 8 years. The original tires have been removed & replaced with brand new raised white letter radials, (zero miles on them), due to some dry rot. The exhaust is also brand new from the catalytic converter back to the chrome tips. The original t-top bags are stored in the trunk to bag those tops then you want the sunny breeze coming through the car as you cruise. The only thing that this car needs is one a/c hose that leads to the radiator replaced, and probably a transmission gasket replaced because it leaves a few drops when parked for some duration. There is a thin 1/2 inch scratch on the passenger side quarter panel and a very small scratch on the driver's side front fender, both of which could probably be sanded out and buffed. Other than that, I have described this car to the best of my knowledge and hope it can land in the hands of someone who is going to care and enjoy it as much as I did.
