This is a rare original sheet metal rot free (never patched) 1985 Jeep CJ7 Laredo model with an Automatic transmission. This 25 year old Classic Jeep CJ7 Laredo is an investment, not an expenditure. It will retain it's value and appreciate if you take care of it. Keep it away from salt, change the oil, and simply maintain it and enjoy it. If you need to sell it, there will be a neighbor, friend or near by buyer wanting it. Nice clean 76 to 86 CJ's are ALWAYS in demand. This one is no exception and the rare Automatic transmission makes it an easier sell because all family members can use it This Jeep came to me with rot free floors, sides etc and original faded paint and received a show quality base / clear paint job with the best available original decals reapplied from Austin Jeeps. New replacement parts acquired from Trailquest where needed (Heater cables, marker lights, dash lights, etc) The Jeep is a 258 6 Cylinder automatic. Starts easy every time and shifts as it should. 4wd, lockouts etc all work fine. The frame of this Jeep is still original black rust free and not doctored up with a used car lot rattle can and the floors would shine on the underside if you wanted to clean and polish them. It drives nice and easy in town or on the highway. It does not ride like a stagecoach like a lifted or modified CJ. It is smooth and enjoyable.
