1986 Ford Mustang V8 5L GT Convertible I am reluctantly selling the real lady in my life :-) I purchased this beautiful Muscle Car in 2006 which has been owned in Florida all its life when it had 48,500 miles on the clock. I have used this car daily since I bought it and I have never had any mechanical problems .It has been serviced regularly. I have receipts for work done on the vehicle before I owned it and for all the work and parts that have since been fitted. I have listed below the main specifications of the vehicle ,work that has been done the Car in the last two years and the main points to note. Main Specifications:- • 5 liter engine with 8 Cylinders • Under 64,000 original Florida Miles • Convertible – Electric roof • Automatic • Electric (door locks and windows) • A/C – Ice cold • Radio/ Cassette – Original • Cruise Control • Original Warning Module – lights /low fuel/ brakes • Tires – Eagle HP P225/60R15 80% Tread (see points to note) Improvements. • New Convertible Top with new rear glass (Professionally fitted) • New Door /Roof and Window Seals • New Carpet (Professionally Fitted) • New Interior – Front and Rear Seats recovered together with door panels (Work done by a highly regarded reupholster shop ) • Engine – Tuned and new Plugs /Points and leads • Radiator and water pump replaced (Original Parts Available) Points to note:- • Paintwork and the car comes with the original paint work. The following is worth noting :- a, There is no fading on the paint b,The vehicle does have the normal small dings that are representative of a car of this age.(I tried to photograph the dings in the drivers door but they did not come out on the Pics) NONE of the dings have gone through the paintwork to the metal. c, Due to wear the paint has slightly rubbed down to the gray undercoat on the edge of the fender and the trunk where the fender meets the hood and the trunk lid. This is hardly noticeable and does not affect the overall appearance of the Car • Tires – I currently am running it on Sexy Cobra rims with Cooper MS 245/50R16s PLEASE NOTE The vehicle will come with Eagle HP225s (75% tread) and the original rims and NOT the Cobra Rims and the Cooper MS Tires ZERO FEEDBACK SCORES.
