1982 Mercedes-Benz 300D runs on waste veggie oil. This is a great car for local driving. Runs really well. The transmission does leak,occasionally the starter grinds,needs new motor mounts. The engine runs really smooth on oil. With diesel it vibrates a lot,and smokes some. I drove this car for two years, on free recycled veggie oil. When diesel was 5.00 a gallon, I was the envy of the neighborhood. I now buy clean veggie oil for 2.50 a gallon. Aside from helping the environment,veggie oil is cheaper than diesel and gas. I can run this car on either diesel or veggie oil. During the winter I usually put in about 5 gallons of diesel to make the veggie oil thinner. I will include my home fueling system which includes two 55gallon drums, bought new about a year ago, an air compressor pump as well as a hand cranked pump. I also bought German motor mounts,but have not installed them. I will also include several service manuals as seen in the pictures. There is a small hole in the lining, the paint seems to be loosing its protective coating. The sun roof works and does not leak. The air conditioner blows warm air. It may need to be service to blow cold. Clean title. The dash has some cracks. The driver seat has a small rip. The gas gage does not work. I use the tactometer to gage my fuel status. I just replaced the brake pads and calipers. The mechanic machined the roters. Brakes squeak slightly. Thanks, happy bidding!
