1947 FORD SUPER 6 DELUXE COUPE THIS CAR RUNS DRIVES VERY GOOD.SOUTHERN CAR SINCE NEW.FLATHEAD 6 CLYINDER WAS REBUILT AT SOME TIME.OLDER RESTORATION LEBARON-BONNEY INTERIOR.Does not overheat or smoke. If you'll look, the 6 cyl. was rated at only about 10 hp less than the V8. Original 6v system is still in place and works fine. Brakes are up and very firm. Exhaust recent. Battery is dated 06. Tires look to have very few miles on them. Car is a blast to drive, and gets looks everywhere. New gas tank and sending unit. New water pump. New plugs, wires, points, etc. Emergency brake works fine. Generator seems to charge ok. There are dings, bubbles, and thin places in the paint . Appears to have been re-painted sometime over the years. Evidence of minor rust repair in the lower doors, front fender bottoms, outer rockers,rear bumper valance, and the ends of the drip rail on the back. Moderate rust damage visible on the inner rockers. Floors ,trunk , frame looks very good. Passenger door glass is cracked, and passenger side windshield is cloudy around the edges. I've had the car in the rain and no leaks are evident. Steering, kingpins, tie rod ends, wheel bearings, and shocks seem ok. Lights all work, and the turn signals work sometimes. Radio makes static. None of the guages work. Clear SC title in hand.
