This is a very original absolutely rust free 1969 Porsche 911T. It was purchased in Germany in 1969 and brought to Calgary. Car is in kilometers and has 122000km on it.The original owner ordered this car with several "S" options, full S trim including wheel well trim, aluminium front callipers, steel front spoiler, original Porsche oil cooler with all brass lines and thermostat, rear sway bar, deep six heart rims, aluminium rear licence panel (original which I had a body shop restore and paint). As I was restoring the car I added the 911S glove box, gold S lettering on engine lid, 7800 rpm tach, red S engine shroud, so at a glance this car looks exactly like a 911S but it is a clone. Vin# 119121458. All the original T components, i.e., glove box, silver letters, T tach, etc all come with the car as to put it back to original factory condition. The car was repainted black in the 80s, original colour was Irish Green and the paint code is still on the drivers door jamb 1515. It was a well done paint job with all parts of the car covered just a bit of the original green factory overspray remains on the underside. Paint is showing it's age, looks good from 15 feet but has a few scratches chips and minor dings. All body gaps are fine there have been no accidents or panel replacement. There is no bubbling or signs of up and coming rust. There has never been any body damage or repairs done to this car, only a colour change as the previous owner did not like Irish Green. Small dent on right front fender and on nose on hood otherwise no dents(see photos). Engine was top end rebuilt 2 years age with a complete reseal, timing chains, valves and guides, all components where done at the same time i.e., alternator, starter, carbs, clutch, flywheel and pressure plate. Suspension was also restored with new bushings front and rear wheel bearings, shocks and struts, ball joint and tie rods. All 4 callipers were rebuilt including the aluminium fronts as well as new rotors, pads and master cylinder. Gas tank was removed steam cleaned and fuel system restored as this car sat in a garage for several years before I purchased it, I am the third owner. Shifter and pedal cluster were also rebuilt. Two new original batteries, this car starts and runs fantastic, it is solid and responsive, everything is tight and works the way it did from Porsche. The interior is all original and in very good condition, no dash cracks, rips or tears, seats are fine and slide easily, drivers seat was rebuilt to give it it's shape back. All gauges work even the clock. Carpet is original and shows minor wear, door panels are fine the only flaw would be the front door pockets which have been cut to install speakers. The wheels are 15" deep six hearts part number 901364012306, they are in excellent condition never repainted and have newer tires mounted, including the spare. Tool kit is mostly complete, original owners manual and jack as well. If you are looking for a vintage 911 that requires very little work, i.e. paint, to bring it back to stunning condition this is it. It still shows well and has been used for several PCA tours and events. The new owner can decide to keep the S clone look or change it back to the original T.
