Vehicle Detail
I'm 66 years old and this beautiful classic Cadillac has been my lifelong dream to restore, but as many things are, a divorce after 34 and 1/2 years of marriage has brought those dreams to a halt and due to the fact that money is needed to fulfill my obligations as a single adult male, I find myself forced to sell it. I believe that when anyone sees what I have done to bring this car closer to complete restoration that it makes no sense to sell it based on the money and time I have devoted to this very special car Enclosed is the bill of sale when I purchased the car from Heartland Custom Classics. The base price was $18,000.00 as shown. The flashy new candy apple red paint was done by Lonnie's Paint and Body Shop in Slaughterville, Oklahoma at a cost of $6,700.00 and it matches the red fabric and white leather interior along with the red carpet. Lonnie Smith can be reached at (405) 808-1166. There is very little work to be done if your goal is to keep the interior original since there are no rips, tears, or visible wear in the seats or the headliner. The dash is gray and shows no wear and the dash panel shows very little wear. The radio lights up but does not work presently, as well as the heat gauge. The gas gauge and speedometer work well, as do all the interior lights. The body has no dents whatsoever but the chrome has some discoloration on the front bumper. The rear back bumper located under the rear pipe has a hole underneath but barely visible. On the emblem on the front of the car the insert on the emblem is missing but can be easily replaced. Cadillac King in California has replaced the spindles, tie rod ends, king pins, and brake booster. Ledford's Performance Center (Tony Ledford) in Waco, Texas, (254) 772-4997 did the installation. McVeys Auto Parts out of Mississippi provided a new water pump. All parts were reconditioned and completely rebuilt once the parts were ordered. The car has an exceedingly smooth ride and will surprise you on the road. The 331 engine appears to need a carburetor rebuild but starts and runs fine. I am an Owner not a rebuilder or restoration man for classic cars. Please let me know of any additional questions I may not have answered and I will get you the information. I've spent over $10,000.00 on this car and when added to the $18,000.00 I paid for it, my costs plus endless days of labor shows clearly that I planned on keeping it. Please Serious Bidders and Buyers only. I can be reached at rocketman58200062@yahoo.com or 405-268-9268... again please serious buyers only. Because they bid twice and I do not understand that. Thank You for any information.
