A Precious 1967 Shelby GT 500 , original sheet metal (minor patch on rear 1/4's), original suspension, original interior (MInt), original steering wheel, original Kelsey Hayes wheels, roll cage, seat belts, professionally restored by a Ford specialist (furnished upon request) in absolutely impeccable conditon. This 1967 Shelby GT500 has the Marti Report and was built at San Jose and came equipped with a 428, which has beenr replaced by a Carrol Shelby Aluminum 427 side-oiler with dual 4 barrell carburetors. This car was rotisserie restored with a slight chance that you might be tempted to drive. This car has had a Hone-a-Drive gear ratio changer installed that will convert the 411 rear end gear to a cruising 270 rear , IF YOU WANT TO DRIVE IT. I have driven the car once and parked it. It is built and looks like it came from the factory other than the obvious 427 Carroll Shelby Aluminum block. This 1967 Shelby GT500 will out perform the "COVETED" Supersnake 67 GT500. This particular 67 GT500 has all of the credentials, the serial numbers, the Shelby serial number, the original inner fenders, and will please the most discriminating 67 Shelby GT500 enthusiasts. This car HAS NOT been a butchered up, rebuilt restoration. I must add that the originality of the frame and body were very TRULY EXCEPTIONAL. The original 428 engine was blown up as this car had a lot of it's really Low miles put on a 1/4 at a time. This 67 GT500 was received 11/15/66, specialized 01/13/67, scheduled for build 01/31/67, actually built 03/22/67, and released 03/22/67, 527 were built with this color, 410 with paint / trim combination, 1376 with with this engine/transmission, 2045 ordered as a GT-500, 2410 ordered as a base vehicle. The order type was RETAIL, DSO# 6145, Dealer # 471419, and sold at Ron's Ford Sales in Bristol, Tennessee. This GT500 was ordered with extra cooling package, courtesy light group, fold down rear seat, power Steering (which has been removed), Power front disc brakes, Interior De'cor Group, and Heavy Duty Battery> This 67 GT500 was actually produced by Ford on March 22, 1967-fifty days behind schedule. This is the real deal "Holyfield" 02 fastback, Dark Moss Green, and has the Shelby Production Number (01638).
