You are bidding on a 1969 Pontiac GTO. I am selling this car for a friend. I am very famillar with the history of this GTO. My Dad sold the car to my buddy when we were in High School 25 years ago. The Car was originally yellow with black vynyl top. The engine and tranny were rebuilt about 23 years ago. The car has only been driven about 1000 miles since the rebuild. After engine and tranny work was completed he took the car to have it painted. The car was painted white and then the body man left in the middle of the night with the front clip and rear bumper. What you see is what you get. The car has been here in New Mexico for most of it's life, so there is very little rust. The worst is the roof. The black vynyl top rotted away and the roof is rusty. The car has not been started in over 20 years. As you can see by the pictures the front tires are bad. I will get 2 tires that hold air and put on before the winner of auction gets here to pick it up. The car is a matching numbers 400 automatic. Came equipped with hide away headlights, air conditioning and power brakes. We will help load the car when you or your carrier gets here to pick it up. Please email all questions.
