Vehicle Detail
This is a parts/project car. 1974 Firebird Esprit that has 64,000 documented miles on it. Floor boards are immaculate. Best floor pans I have ever seen. Honestly the entire frame and body are in incredible condition. Only rust on the whole damn car is in the rear quarter panels. Surface rust in some other places, but very light. What is MISSING? The Radio The A/C The Hood The door windows The interior (except for seats) Everything else is complete. 350cui engine and TH350 are original and numbers matching. Engine has been torn down and inspected by a machine shop. Engine and all the engine components are in excellent condition and can be reused to rebuild this engine. Car only has 64,000 miles on it as confirmed by the oil change stickers, and registration tags that stopped in 1994. The Story: I bought this car from a family who had it sitting in their pasture (yes with farm animals) for almost 15 years. Why? because the womans uncle borrowed $500 from her in 1995 and gave her his car as collateral. Why did he need the money? bail. He ended up going to prison for a long time and she never heard from or saw him again. In the mean while his car sat in her pasture. Needless to say mice made several homes in his car, and the sun baked the interior into nothing but plastic chips. That is why the interior is gone, and that is why I tore the engine down (mice owned the entire engine compartment). This car is a GREAT donor car. The seats alone cost me $800 to get professionally redone. I have sanded a lot of the body sheet metal down by hand. All I want for the car is $200. Its worth more than that in scrap metal at the local scrap yard. Great deal for anyone who wants it.
