1989 Mercury Tracer Wagon For Repair or Parts About the Wagon:I purchased this vehicle about a year and a half ago for a daily commuter and drove it every day for a year then it blew a head gasket due to a leaking radiator and it sat for 6 months. I bought a new cylinder head and had a mobile mechanic install it, the head is not the correct head and the ports do not line up although it does bolt up to everything. Needless to say the car is sitting and does not run with a new head that doesn't fit and I don't want to invest any more time or money into the car to get it running which wouldn't need much. The Transmission is a 3spd Auto that shifted great.The car was babied until the gasket blew and the interior is near mint condition.The tires have about 3/4 tread left on them.Everything works on this car minus the head gasket and it may need a battery after sitting for some time. The car is being sold as is and for pick-up only.GOOD LUCK!
