Up for auction: 1976 Corvette Stingray project car. Body: Exterior needs work - the body is in perfect condition without cracks, all panels are original. T-tops function correctly. Doors open and close good. Hood will close, but needs a release cable. Spare tire holder is still there, as is the gas tank.Axle is complete & functional. Brakes do not work. Interior: The interior is completely sun damage. Seats are original, and all pieces look to be there. Dash, shifter, console steering column, etc. are all original. Rear glass is intact, and all hatch covers for battery & other compartments are still there. All four (4) aluminum wheels are there. Tires are not good, they have small cracks in the sidewall from the sun. Drivetrain: Engine and trans are original, and the engine does start right up and run good even with just open manifolds (factory). The exhaust system is still there, but does need to be replaced. Note: To start the engine, you turn the key on, and then bump the solenoid. The ignition switch may need to be replaced or possibly just adjusted to work properly. There is a radiator in the car, but it does not look to be correct. Feel free to ask questions, and I will do me best to answer them for you.
