I've owned the car for a little over a year and have replaced many parts in the car but it has come to a point where I can no longer keep fixing it. I replaced all struts and shocks, one catalytic converter, the muffler, all 6 ignition coils, as well as all the brakes. After replacing the camshaft position sensor the car began idling too high. The engine receives too much power after starting up. This can cause the engine to overheat after being in one spot for too long. The dash lights in the car also turn off when ever the headlights are turned on. The system in the car needs to be reset so that it can run properly with the aftermarket camshaft position sensor. I unfortunately can't afford to put more money into this vehicle so I leave the project for someone else. The car has high mileage but would be great for local trips. Car interior is leather but has some damage. There's a rip in the driver's side seat. Windows also get stuck periodically and need to be fixed. The car does start but it will still need to be towed to an auto shop or place of residence. There will be no shipping for the 2000 Nissan Maxima and it will be available for pick up only.
