2005 Volvo XC 90, 2.5 liter turbo, Black, All wheel drive. 175,000 miles. Mechanics special. Just took in to have servicing, transfer case for all wheel drive needed to be replaced. Tranny shop found used transfer case with less than 100,000 miles on it. Repair with new sleeve was $1500.00. Further investigation showed there was a fair amount of sludge build up and that engine needs to be flushed and cleaned with possibility of a rebuild. Car runs and drives. Our loss equals your gain.
