Available for bid is One Rare and Unique Custom 2002 Honda VTX 1800 Trike. Back in 2002 Honda Built the Largest production V-twin in history, the VTX1800 with its water cooled (PGM-FI) Fuel injected Engine that had 2 spark plugs per cylinder and made over 100 horsepower & 117 foot pounds of torque. This bike for its time, was the biggest, baddest Metric Ever, and what a Fantastic platform for building a Custom Trike. This bike has gone through a complete Transformation from The Motor Trike company, which utilizes the factory Seat, Fender and Driveshaft the Adds a Complete Rear Body and Solid Rear Axle with Limited Slip Differential and links it together using a traditional driveshaft and u-joints, much like you would find on a rear wheel drive American car or truck. This bike has the Upgraded Motor Trike Polished Aluminum rear Wheels and Chrome Bumper kit to compliment the Classic teardrop taillights and classic body curves, The rear Body on this trike also incorporates a locking trunk for taking some luggage on trips or carrying home a few groceries. The entire bike has been painted in a custom deep red Metallic Paint that Sparkles in the sunlight. The Engine and 5-speed transmission Start Run Shift and Clutch as they should, Honda Smooth and Easy. There is a Custom Vented Windshield installed on this trike as well as custom chrome spot-lamps and a Mustang 2-up Touring Seat with Removable rider backrest (not shown in the pictures) and a Factory Hondaline Chrome passenger backrest with pad. There is some patina from time and miles on some of the aluminum pieces and a few small stone chips in the paint that have been touched up with proper paint. And with the Solid rear axle this bike is much heavier that the original and is a little stiff over bumps. That being said this bike runs smooth down a smooth road and tracks straight and correct.
