1997 Honda Accord that has been in my possession since 2007. It has been a great car, but has recently been sitting for a couple years with occasional starts since I received another vehicle from a family member. Vehicle is sold AS-IS. I suggest that the car be checked by a qualified mechanic, but the following are the known issues: 1. Speedometer is not working. It worked sporadically in the last few years, but was not driven much during this time.2. Check engine light is ON due to the O2 sensor breaking off a rusted catalytic converter. Exhaust system will no doubt need to be replaced and there was also a hole in the straight pipe that I fixed with a soup can.3. The knob for the temperature control is very hard to turn and that is why it is off as I needed to use pliers to change it.4. NJ inspection sticker is expired and no doubt can be repaired after fixing the exhaust issues.5. When I tried to move the car in September, the brake pedal went down to the floor. I know the fluid hasn't been changed in years, but it could be the master cylinder. For these reasons, you should see a qualified mechanic. Local pickup only.
