This auction is for a 1978 Ford F150 Pickup with a 302 8 Cylinder / Automatic It has 95,000 miles on it and it has some rust in the usual places, but far less than most. The drivers side cab corner has rust and will need to be replaced and there is some pinhole rust in the passenger side roof area and there is also a small dent in the drivers side area of the bed near the taillight along with some rust on front edge of the hood and some in the bed. The truck is fairly solid, but there are a few minor issues here and there. It runs fantastic. The engine is very quiet with a smooth idle. It also shifts well. It starts up and idles like it should. Both of the doors open and close nicely. The truck has a new battery and fairly nice interior, The truck was originally from MD and was purchased by the 2nd owner in 1987 with 77K Miles. I believe that there is a blown brake line or there is some air in the brake lines and they may need to be bled. At this time, it does not stop on a dime or very well at all. The brakes will need attention. The paint is not award wining, but looks acceptable. It was professionally painted 15 years ago. It is a blue/green metallic color. This will be a great truck for someone and it only needs minimal work. It has only been driven 18,000 miles since 1987. The engine was replaced with a new 302 in the late 90's and is in excellent condition. This auction is for serious buyers only, The Truck is at my home in Westminster, MD 21158.
