Up for sale is my ‘81 Scrambler. This Jeep has been owned by the same since ‘83 and very well cared for the entire time. Just this past summer this scrambler made the drive from nebraska to Virginia with no troubles. Truly a dependable Jeep. I wish I could could hang onto this one, Original paint survivors always make the best ones. Mechanical: Original straight 6 cyl runs very strong, I trust it to drive anywhere. 5 speeds trans shifts great and makes highway cruising easy. The steering box has been rebuilt and is very tight like it would have been when new, however she does still wander a bit at highway speeds like most Jeeps do. Body: Original! I always seek out Original paint cars because they tell no lies, what you see is what’s there. There are places that have been touched up but it is Original paint for the majority and shows no signs of bondo or body work anywhere. Underneath is also rust free. You don’t see them this solid unrestored very often Interior: pictures tell all there, she does have a very nice Bluetooth radio hiddenaway in the center console that plays great. The car is sold as is, in Danville, VA, with no warranty. I do reserve the right to end the auction at anytime as the car is for sale locally. The car is available to see and inspect any time before auction ends. $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end, with remainder due within 7 days, via cash, cleared check, money order or bank transfer.
