Vintage Morgan 22 for sale. Swing/retractable keel. Wide 8’ beam. Trailer NOT included. Delivery is available (please read below). Why I bought this boat: I bought this boat as a package deal with trailer (I needed the trailer for another vintage boat I finished). Great project boat or parts boat. Has mast, boom, all the goods. Sail as well. Walk around deck, stern sitting area is extremely clean. Hull is in good shape, some minor soft spots in front/bow around hatch window. Inside looks like a disaster, but just needs detail cleaning, painting & new benches.. or, leave it wide open! Condition: Interior is pretty much gutted and needs complete cleaning and overhaul. Don’t fear, you can do it! Backstory: The previous owner began ripping the interior out but abandoned the project due to his new marriage and expecting child. He ripped it out to obtain access to the swing keel box (and wanted to modernize the interior decor). Experience: I spent 2 years (the occasional weekend type project) renovating another vintage boat (in the nearly identical shape) and would estimate this project to take 2-3 weeks of full-time interior work and you’ll be on the water. Inside needs completed final gutting, detail cleaning, painting then interior seating, etc. Leaks: The bow hatch cover (over the birth bed) is leaking.. will need some fixing. The bow ceiling (over the birth bed) is slightly soft around the hatch area.. not a major concern and no worry for structural integrity. The ceiling where the mast is attached is firm & solid. Delivery! You can pickup for free or I’m willing to deliver boat for $250 for a 50-mile radius to (Newark, Delaware 19701). 100 mile radius will be $500. 100 miles to 250 miles will be $1000. Anything over 250 miles, you can buy the trailer and tow away! Will part with trailer for $2500. Payment must be made before delivery via PayPal. Willing to give you a full detailed renovation to-do list, no charge. Also willing to renovate the interior for you for $3500 and will deliver for free in April 2019. She's a classic!
