Vehicle Detail
1972 Honda CT70K1 Mini-Trail. This little jewel has been completely disassembled with every nut and bolt removed and inspected. It was then painstakingly restored to a very high level. It looks and runs like brand new! I bought this bike about three years ago as an unfinished restoration project. The frame, forks, wheels, engine covers and individual components had all been carefully stripped and expertly repainted in correct Honda colors using two-stage basecoat+clearcoat paints. The engine had been refreshed as well, the bike was running and partially re-assembled when I bought it. It’s taken quite a while but I’ve now completed the project having added many, many new parts which were either sourced from genuine Honda factory parts or high-quality reproduction replacements. Every part on this bike is either new or completely reconditioned. The frame is a 1972, the engine is a 1973 70cc model with a 3-spd transmission and automatic clutch. Nearly every nut and bolt has been replaced and upgraded with stainless steel fasteners (except specialty OE fasteners). The stock exhaust was replaced with a very high quality (and expensive) aftermarket fully chromed exhaust system. The rare original carburetor was retained and has been disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled using new gaskets and seals. The tires, seat, fuel tank, handlebars, cables, ignition switch (NOS), headlight, taillight, horn, lamps, battery and many more parts are brand new. The bike starts easily and runs like the day it rolled out of the Honda factory. The speedo, horn, headlight, dimmer switch, taillight, and stop light all work as they should; including the indicator neutral and hi-beam lamps in the speedometer. The bike has a clean Oregon title. Please contact me with any questions you may have. Thanks!Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and expenses. I will be happy to assist with delivering the bike to a local shipper's location if needed.
