I am selling this well-cared for 1974 Honda MR50, which I have owned for the past 26 years. I have many fond memories of teaching youngsters the art of riding this fun little bike, with a manual clutch and 3-speed transmission. In 2009, I disassembled the engine for inspection after many years of use, and decided to recondition it. The cylinder was bored oversize and received a new piston and ring set, with new wrist pin, clips, and upper rod bearing. The lower crankshaft main bearings were replaced. All new gaskets and seals were used in the reassembly, including a new carburetor mounting boot to cylinder. All parts used were new, genuine Honda parts. I have all receipts. Engine has approximately 5 hrs of run-time after overhaul. The bike has typical wear, nicks, and bruises after 45 years, but still functions as it should, and presents itself very well.
