Vehicle Detail
size: compact title status: clean transmission: automatic type: hatchback If you want a great little hybrid to commute that does not need any maintenance, this is it. The hybrid battery and IMA system work great, and it comes with a grid charger to help the hybrid battery last even longer. It gets 45mpg city and up to 60mpg highway. Honda Insight specs: -3cylinders -Automatic (transmission works great!) -Hatchback with secret storage cubby -5 BRAND NEW tires -Brand new regular battery -Hybrid battery & IMA System work great -Just had oil change & new spark plugs at 193,970 miles -Body is mostly made of aluminum, so it is very light weight -Holds approx 10gal of gas (fill up for about $20 & that will last weeks for most drivers) -AC & Heat work great -I have the Carfax from when I bought it if you want to see it -My dad changed out the stick with the high beams/low beams (so both work great now; there was a glitch with 2000-2003 Insight high beam mode) -Replaced the starter (there actually probably wasn't anything wrong with the original one-it just needed a new regular battery, but it's in there now.) -The odometer may seem high for a normal gas car, but Insights regularly go to 450,000-600,000 miles (google it!) -Clear title and registration is good in Oklahoma until August 2019 Things that could be done to it: -You could replace the windshield -Driver's side window doesn't always work (according the the Honda forums, it's probably a loose wire, but I didn't drive enough for it to bother me) -Check engine light is on because it wants an Oxygen Sensor -I have the bumper, but it is not attached because the tabs broke when an uninsured driver hit me in the summer (there was no frame/body damage, but you can see the white paint scrape on the blue fender on the passenger side) -The plastic window strips are not attached. I bought the $164 worth of tabs to attach them, and my dad can attach them for you when you buy it, if you would like, but if you want to replace the windshield and we attached those strips/tabs, you would have to break the tabs off to take off the strips/put the new windshield on. So, your call. **There may be other things wrong with it; I am just an individual and I make no promises or guarantees, but I honestly would not hesitate to drive it cross country right now. ~~~~~Why am I selling it??~~~~~ I am in grad school and live really close to my school. I got it to commute long distance to do photography for my side business in the summer, but then I ended up getting really busy with my main job and school, and it's silly for me to have 2 cars now. Please check out the videos of the engine, driving, IMA system etc and then email or text me any questions you may have.
