You are buying a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda. V8 318 with automatic transmission. As you can see the front seats have been replaced in the past with these leather "racing style" seats. The car has 2 1/2" dual exhaust and sounds very nice. Car Runs!!! Minimal work to drive...see below...What you'll need to do to be able to drive it.....it needs new brake lines, seems master cylinder is holding just fine, but lines are rusted beyond repairs, and could at least use brake clean and adjustment. Needs a new battery. Once brakes and battery are taken care of, you can start driving safely.To do a further restoration you'll need......some firewall rust repairs, the bad spots are covered, but do need repaired. Floor pans, and rear quarter panels should be replaced to do it correctly. Engine could use an overhaul with new rings, plugs, etc as it does smoke, especially after sitting for a period of time. (not leaking any fluids to my knowledge) Car will come with a used heater unit, but needs installed. Comes with spare set of 15" wheels in trunk.Cosmetically would obviously need paint, chrome, tires and wheels. No water leaks around glass or seams. Body is straight, doors, hood, and trunk open and close easily and straight. Payment MUST be made in full within 7 days of auction ending, no exceptions.
