2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Needs engine swap- will not start due to fatal engine issue (thrown rod, etc)- likely due to known issues with unmodified 4.7 HO engines in these model Jeeps and Durangos (valve seats dislodge, oil pressure issue). This car is a perfect project car only needing an engine replacement- I do not want to see this car go to a salvage yard and parted out but would rather see it go to a Mopar motorhead to resurrect! There are engine rebuilders that modify the heads and pin valve seats to eliminate the issues for years of future enjoyment. I would swap it myself but my wife wants a new car. Well, OK. Please make a bid on this car! Minimum set to $500 so I can feel good about it going to someone whom is going to get it running again.
