2000 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro 5-speed Manual - 250,000 Miles. The car runs and drives excellent. I parked it a year ago due to a transmission noise. It sounds like its related to the front final drive / differential. Its a wine that changes with load and speed. Its possibly a carrier or a pinion bearing. The car's had a ton of new parts put into it over the last four years. I installed a K-04 Turbocharger in 2015 and have it running around 18-20psi boost. It also has a red silicone turbo inlet tube (MAF to Turbo) and a zener in the boost sensor circuit to prevent the computer from throwing it into limp mode. Its running 2.0T ignition coils with Touareg insert adapters. I also installed slightly higher flow injectors and seals. It has an adjustable turbo diverter valve. It received a new Gates timing belt, tensioners and water pump at the same time (220,000 miles). All four wheel bearings were replaced in 2016, I put a brand new alternator in it around 2017, just before I parked it. Many other misc parts were replaced around 2015, such as the drive shaft carrier bearing, brake flex hoses, most of the wheel speed sensors and the ABS module, all upper control arms and tie rod ends, caliper bores honed and resealed, radiator, fuel pump, regulator and a new crank position sensor. There's probably more that I've forgotten. I installed 16" B6 wheels and new tires less than 20,000 miles ago. The cat is also deleted. The body is in excellent shape, maybe a tiny bit of surface rust in a few spots, but no holes. The body is very solid considering the age. This was my daily driver for a 70 mile commute. It never left me stranded and always ran great. I hate to see it go, but I don't have time to repair it. The car is quite fast when its running the higher boost. Its as fast as my W8 Passat and faster than my B7 2.0T. Its a nice sleeper and I'm going to miss it, but it needs to go.The car can be driven and runs great. With the noisy transmission I'm not sure if it would make it cross country, but I'm sure it would make it a reasonable distance. The battery was also replaced in 2015. The engine is the ATW. I have some misc parts in the trunk. A complete APH head off a running engine, and a AEB head (the big port head) with cams. I have a few spare K03 turbos and parts in there too.
