1940 FORD CONVERTIBLE (SOLID CALIFORNIA CAR) Best buy on a 40 Ford Convertible you’ll find! Original frame on restoration. Car doesn’t currently run and has been parked covered in my garage for years since owner died. Last time it was on the road was seven years ago. Pink slip in hand (California non-operation registration). Nice original straight all steel body, no rust, solid floors. It does have a small scratch on the passenger rear fender. Running gear is a small block chevy which I was told is a 327, with a 40 Ford 3 speed and a 40 Ford rear end 5 X 4 ½ lug pattern. Front disc brakes with 5 on 4 ½ lug pattern. Vintage Ford Torino rims. Classic 78 year old car sold as is, no warranties expressed or implied. Nonrefundable $500 deposit due within 24 hours of the end of auction. Full payment due within 7 days of end of auction. Cash or cashier’s check only, cashier’s check must clear bank before release of vehicle. Transportation of vehicle is entirely up to buyer.
