Up for sale is a 1992 GMC Typhoon. It is finished in Black and complimented with a black leather interior. It has been sitting in the largest Typhoon/Syclone collection in the country for the last 11 years in a climate controlled warehouse in Reno, Nevada. This Typhoon was wearing 100% of its original paint on this accident free/rust free body when I purchased it and was showing its age so I had a complete repaint done on it and it looks very nice. I installed a fresh set of decals and now it looks like something you would be proud to bring to a carshow!!! The wheels have been chrome plated and the chrome is getting a little thin in a few spots but they still look nice and they are mounted to a matched set of bridgestone tires that have plenty of life left on them. The interior is all stock with the exception of a new radio installed to replace another non-functioning aftermarket radio that was previously installed. The only other non-stock item is a flip up/removable sunroof. Everything I tried seems to work well including the cold air conditioning which I just had converted over to R134A. The back window electric release sticks at times and has the typical rear window rattles like all Typhoons/Jimmy's. Mechanically this Typhoon is also in excellent condition. It does not smoke on startup as most of them do and runs great. I fixed any vacuum leaks and it has a smooth idle which is also rare for a Syclone/Typhoon. It accelerates, shifts and drives down the road just like it should and there are no surprises, It really just needs a new owner and is ready to enjoy.
