For sale by original owner 2004 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4.6L 2WD SUV. I purchased my Ford new and have driven and maintained it since that time. I am a former Mercedes-Benz technician and have done all of the maintenance and repairs over the years. Never had any engine or transmission problems. The Ford has never been used to tow anything. This has been a family vehicle for picking up the kids from school and some family trips. We rarely use it now and I have to drive it weekly just to keep the fluids running through their systems for maintenance. Tires have about 80% life and brakes were completely replaced around 100,000 miles to include; pads, rotors, master cylinder, booster and AB computer. PCV, IAC replaced and throttle body cleaned. All 8 spark plugs replaced at 100,000 miles as preventative maintenance. All fluids changed more frequently than required.The only defects are an erratic radio volume control knob. I use the remote controls on the steering wheel instead. Note also one or more tire pressure sensors are defective. This does not affect the tires or handling of the Ford. The sensors are located inside the wheels. Ford cannot tell which one is defective and wants to replace all 4 at a cost of $650.00. I would wait until I need new tires and then have it done to reduce the overall cost.If you've been looking for a well cared for Expedition that has been reliable and has never been in an accident this is the one.The vehicle starts, idles, accelerates, shifts and brakes very well with no problems.If you have any questions please call me (Mike) at 954-305-9877.
