Vehicle Detail

NO SHIPPING - LOCAL CASH PICKUP - BETHLEHEM, PA 18018 If you're looking for an inexpensive AWD winter car that still feels connected to the road via a 5 speed stickshift transmission, here you go....... I know I'm going to miss this thing, but a recently handed down a full size Mini Van has 10 times more usable space (for my business) so I'm going to have to sacrifice the AWD for the BADLY needed extra space I've owned this car since 2008, longer than any of the other five I have, and I need to start downsizing (obviously) as only 4 are registered/insured including this one. It has been my exclusive 'work' vehicle for the past 5 years, and cosmetically it shows with numerous dents, dings, and scratches. This has worked for me because I have peace of mind knowing I don't care where I park it.............. THE GOOD -- Just about everything works. The A/C is COLD, I find myself turning it down. I wish I could say the same for some other cars I have. The tires were replaced in April and probably don't even have 2,000 miles on them yet. It's totally stock, even the exhaust. I was an AutoTech for 12 years and my performance interests are in a couple of the other 'toys' I have. This kept the reliability intact. I often tell people this is the best all-year-round daily driver I've ever had, and mean it. Timing belt, water pump, and tensioners replaced at 152k. THE BAD -- The radio works, but the CD changer doesn't, who owns CD's anymore anyway..... I looked and it's $35-$50 for the same one here on eBay part# 86201FC080. If you're all about looks, this one is going to need some work. Various dents, dings, and scratches pretty much all over the place. I'm no bodyman (just no good at it) so there is from what I understand the Usual rear fender rust and a scuff from a close call on the right front bumper cover. The windshield has been cracked on the lower passenger side for 5 years. I had it done once where it was in the middle, but only a few months later it got hit again over there. I refused to get it done again unless it spread or failed inspection, but it never did......... THE INCREDIBLE -- It doesn't smoke, and the Head gaskets were never replaced (for the 10 years I've owned it at least) ....... A Subaru buddy of mine can't believe this fact and asks why? Well all I can say is that I use at least 92 octane ALL the time, EVERYTIME. I could write paragraphs on this subject, but to sum it up - Turbo = High Compression, needs High Octane to suppress detonation. You know the saying.... Pay me a little now, or a lot later. I'm going to update this shortly with pictures and probably add to or revise the description, but here it is just to get it posted up here for now. IF YOU WANT TO COME CHECK IT OUT BEFORE YOU BID, SEND ME AN E-MAIL................ THANKS AND HAVE FUN !!! On Sep-22-18 at 16:36:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Didn't know it, but apparently as soon as someone places a bid you can't change or edit what you already posted. Just needed to add that the odometer picture was taken with the car running in neutral with the emergency brake on, therefore the red brake light. There is NO check engine light on to worry about anymore, as a recent code P0442 (evap leak, small) was fixed which was more involved than just a fuel cap. The dealer is still performing recalls on and they've done several in the last few years including the one for fuel leaks. Leaking was the reason I took it in and to my surprise it didn't cost me a dime and they addressed two other outstanding campaigns at the same time. Nice. The cargo area trim is beat up from work, but I did pick up some of the pieces in better shape. I was going to eventually address this but simply never got around to it so those pieces are included. On Sep-22-18 at 23:37:27 PDT, seller added the following information: 5 speed MANUAL TRANSMISSION. by default it lists auto above in the specifics and I didn't see it and now it won't let me revise that but it is definitely STICKSHIFT !!!On Sep-27-18 at 19:23:12 PDT, seller added the following information: OK, posted 2 videos on you tube using the eBay item # 253889122442 --- copy and paste that number into the youtube search box, or I think you can use this id# KGNQxSfKeqg or 26xX1h7zUKc to find them. It's the first time I've ever done it so it's completely amateur but it's been a learning experience and now I'm going to buy a helmet cam or something like that because now I'm intrigued! The second one is a cold start video which I try to explain the importance of it and why I'd never buy a car withoutOn Sep-27-18 at 19:40:47 PDT, seller added the following information: ok, DON'T use the item number, use those other two ID#s as they work to find the vids but the item number isn't working. I wish I could just insert a link here but I'm afraid they'll flag and remove the listing because links supposedly aren't allowed
