The body panels appear to be original, and line up very good on the doors, hood and headlight buckets. The paint is original but still looks good with only some minor chips and checking. The bumpers are also original and the color has faded over the years, but are still in very good condition. There are only two cracks in the fiberglass in the rear quarter panels in front of the bumper. We have posted many pictures of the body and paint for you to look at. The frame is typical of a car that has been driven and stored in the Midwest. It is straight and very solid with surface rust, and can be seen in the many pictures that are posted in this ad. The exhaust system and catalytic converter also appears original. The interior is original but still looks good. The driver’s seat has the most wear with some tears. The dash and door panels look good, and the rear compartment includes the original T-top bags. Also, the seat belts have the date code tags. The carpet is original and is faded but in good condition. The T Top covers are also included. The stock aluminum wheels are in good condition and just need some additional polishing, they also have new center caps. The tires are BF Goodrich T/A Radials in good condition. The front are 255 60 R15 the rear are 275 60 R15. The car starts, runs, shifts, drives, and stops well. The engine could use a tune up and a general look over as the car has not been driven much in the last 5 years. A new battery has been installed. The 4 calipers have been changed and the cars stops as it should. The headlights go up and down but are lazy. The wipers, radio and horn does not work. All other components are functioning, including the gages. This is a great entry level Corvette which can be purchased on a NO RESERVE auction. It is a rare 1981 4 speed Corvette, a great color combination car and a very original and low mileage car.
