2005 VW Jetta 2.5L Manual transaxle went out and needs replaced or car could be used for parts car. Many new parts on the car in the last year. Complete front strut and spring assemblies, rear shocks, rear springs, Kelly AS tires put on less than 5,000 miles ago then the transaxle failed. Has aftermarket headlights and Injen cold air intake as well as Neuspeed short throw shifter on the vehicle. Engine was replaced due to timing chain failure and updated to a 2007 2.5L motor that does not have the timing issues that the early 2.5Lmotors did. Engine has about 30,000 few miles on it than the odometer states. Interior is in very good condition and exterior has rust on fenders and hood. Car has not moved since February and has not been started since the transaxle went out at that time. You will need to trailer the vehicle away. ****If you do not intend to pay for and pick up this vehicle do not bid****A Manual Transaxle is the equivalent to a Transmission in an automatic car, this car does not move it has to be taken away on a trailer and most likely winched up onto the trailer as it does not move because the transaxle is locked up. It is not the drive shafts that failed. I can not state this enough as the car has sold four times and each time the buyer has not picked up the car so PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU CAN NOT TRAILER THIS CAR AWAY IT CURRENTLY DOES NOT RUN AND HAS NOT BEEN STARTED IN SEVERAL MONTHS IT WOULD MAKE A GREAT PARTS CAR WITH NEARLY NEW TIRES AND WINTER COMING UP.
