to start off with the first question: can I drive it home ? yes absolutely.can I catch a bus to Lafayette Indiana and drive it home states away?yes.now that we have that out of the way here is the history. 2003- 2004 ford executive lease "program car" 0-21000 miles 2004-2012 owned by my grandma driven rarely 21000-45000 miles 2012-july 2018 owned and maintained by me 45000-130k car has been "totaled" twice because of body work cost.i bought it back from insurance and have repaired it to driveable condition.mechanics special.it will need a few more things to be 100% wreck #1 107000 miles-deep scratched the left side from the door to rear fender and dinged the "scalp corner" of the fender well. wreck # 2 128900 miles- wrecked the left front headlight area,crushed part of the frame rail,crushed the left front fender,buckled the hood,buckled the fiberglass radiator support,chipped the rear taillight,and dented the left rear fender.the horns and horn wiring are crushed but the high horn does still work. here's what is included with: 2 key rings with remotes and one non chip key hidden for lockouts works on door and trunk box of new rear brake pads 2 new rear stabilizer links 1 original ford link 2 nice used 80000 mile continental tires old serp belt bottle of Castrol transmax merc v fluid 1 1/2 gallons of zerex gl-5 yellow antifreeze supertech oil filter 5 quarts of Valvoline nex gen oil 5w20 can of ford moly grease for cv joints panel clips for the door all original papers receipts maint.log the car runs and drives nice.oil changed on time no knocks or smoke.very solid body very little rust just barely starting.underneath has surface rust never undercoated but very solid no crunching noises when you jack it up.steering wheel is centered drives straight.unlike most fords this power steering pump is very quiet after switching to Castrol transmax fluid. no rotten egg or firecracker exhaust, smells great.the trans shifts fine accelerating normally but sometimes at exactly 15 mph or so it floats between 1st and second.a light touch on the gas or letting it coast into 2nd by itself is all it takes.its done this since day one so I don't think its going out. brakes are mediocre,needs rear shoes put on soon.brake booster not as good as a newer car but you get used to it.all headlights and turn signals work as they should all doors and windows shut and roll down as they should.i have done minimal work to the headlight area and replaced headlight assembly.left front fender and door have been tweaked enough for the door to open without catching.all doors latch fine,hood latch fits good works great.radiator support is moved but radiator is fine and fans work as they should.spare tire and jack all good.right side is nearly perfect except for tiny bit of rust on rr fender well newer parts alternator coilpack battery gates serp belt wiper blades front struts couple years ago rear struts recent 4 wheel alignment moog ball joints Detroit axle front a arms trw rear stabilizer links energy bushings front rotors 2017 iridium plugs/wires 2015 the bad: serpentine belt pully has rubber buildup from last belt slipping.needs buffed off overdue for trans fluid change needs rear brake shoes put on soon need new rear stabilizer links put on(the newer struts sit higher so there is a slack in the link and nuts are too rusted to tighten) trunk seal leaks so the drain plug is removed and tire cover thrown away r/f door panel cover plate fell off r/r door panel clips loose/broken 1 lighter socket worn out(has 2) dash board lights are out.they come on every once in a while if you hit a sharp bump.all gauges low fuel light etc work its just the back lighting. power mirror knob fell off (yes it works without the knob) glove box hinge is broke however it latches and stays put so you can still use it. front tires need replaced soon but will get you home.all tires recently balanced starter has 35000 miles on it.very rarely solonoid will stick.always works on the second try.it has a lifetime warranty but the shop that did the work could not get the problem to duplicate and will not replace it. turn signal lever is worn.it works but disengages too easily sometimes.works best if the steering wheel is centered when you turn it on. radio is haunted ha ha.comes on by itself sometimes when hitting a sharp bump. shift lever pin is a little loose dings on the roof tiny chip on windshield (down low barely noticeable)had it fixed twice,the chip is too small to hold the glue in. the price listed is what I have into the car insurance salvage buyback,parts and labor.the car itself is free pretty much free lol.i wanted to save it from the junkyard and keep it going for someone else to enjoy.hopefully that's you. title is clean normal and good no liens no salvage stamps.the plate ran out july 7.you can use it to get home at your own risk.insurance is already cancelled of course.i have been taking it around the block to keep the battery charged and keep the brakes from rusting.it is cleaned,tires aired up ready to roll out.please pick up asap after payment.good communication is appreciated so I can be home or pick you up from the bus station etc.100 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end.rest of the payment due in 7 days. that's all i can think of for now.any questions e mail at metalliken@netzero.net On Aug-29-18 at 14:33:00 PDT, seller added the following information:
