Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria 2dr hardtop. This car has had most of the work done. It runs well, it goes down the road and it stops. It has been licensed and insured for twelve years. It has been driven in the summer and stored in the winter. It is a good car but needs some attention to detail. The body has been redone with the exception of the white over the rear quarters and deck lid. There is a body stress crack where the top comes down to meet the body. The crack is only about 1 inch long and needs to be welded ground down and then the white repainted. The car is functional the way it is but then it would be completely redone. All stainless trim is good. I took the teapot four barrel carburetor off and put on a two barrel along with manifold. The only breather I had is the 351 that you see in the photos. The engine bay needs cleaned up and detailed although it isn't too bad now as you can see in the photos. The front end has some squeaks and needs new bushings but it goes down the road fine. The speedometer quit working at 80K. It probably has 84k now. Three speed transmission shifter is on the floor. And shifts as it should. The car has duel exhaust with cherry bombs for mufflers. It sounds real good. All new interior was put in a few years back and looks like new . It is the factory colors and design scheme. There are no rips or tears. It is in very good condition along with the correct color carpet. All glass is good but there are some small minor age bubbles in the vent windows. All lights work, horn works. AM radio does work but is unhooked. I put an AM FM below the dash and it is hooked up and works. Tires are American Classics with the wide white wall and have less than 5,000 miles. This is a great car for the price and with a little work could be a very profitable venture or it could be a very good addition to a collection.
