Vehicle Detail
1972 BMW R60/549,xxx miles Clean MN title in my name. Starts up easy with the electric start... also has kick start.Idles great.Runs down the road great.Shifts and stops as it should.Tires are in good shape with lots of tread left, but they are older. The paint is very nice. This is not a show bike, but has made a great daily rider for me.The mufflers were replaced with new aftermarket ones one year ago. They are nice and sound great. The original ones will come with it, but they have been repaired. The seat is nice... no rips.No dents in the tank. The headlight bezel has some dents. It has some quirky items added to the bike years ago...It has a cigarette lighter/charger added to the right side panel. It has dual horns. It has a Honda ignition/key on the right fork ear. The main key in the headlight works for the lights. I haven't looked in the headlight bucket to examine the wiring... I just lived with the Honda key on the BMW key chain. LOLThe battery and side panel retaining bands are incorrect. But they work. The bags can be easily removed... they are nothing fancy but they will come with the bike. The push rod seals are old and could be replaced. They leak a few drops of oil after a long ride.Forks seals, boots, and fuel lines were all replaced 1 year ago. All the lights and gauges work... its a great looking and running bike. The bike has a reasonable reserve. Would prefer pick up in person with cash. But I have shipped bikes before and am happy to work with the shipper of your choice. Shipping is at your expense. I also have a 1969 BSA Thunderbolt barn find that I will be selling once I receive the title from the state. It is missing a few parts but would be an excellent restoration project. I just have too many bikes/projects right now. Let me know if this would be of any interest to you and we can work out a package deal. Thanks for looking! Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
