You are looking at one 1977 Dodge D100 Custom Short bed. A True Barn Find. This is a One owner California Truck. The original old 1970's blue Ca. Plates, with a 77 decal was found after peeling 40 years worth of registration stickers off, proving that it has been here in Northern Ca. its entire life. The original “pink slip/title”, also proves its origin. It's been sitting for a few years, but after we did an oil change, battery, and some minor wire work, she fired right up! No smoke, No knocks, or any weird noises. The truck has its original paperwork from where the truck was bought new here in Northern Ca. This would make a great candidate for a resto, modified, or parts. The original 318 engine with a 4 barrel(aftermarket carb and intake) are on it. Everything else appears stock and original. The Original owner supposedly had the engine rebuilt, but no paperwork to verify it. She starts right up and runs and shifts good! Nice original 4 Spd manual trans. Under the hood equipment identification sheet(s) verifies that this truck born as a V8 4spd truck from the factory. We have only driven the truck around the block, but she seems to run pretty well. New tires were put on to hold air, because the old ones were dry rotted from sitting etc. So they will need to be balanced(some slight vibration over 35mph) for a long drive. The bad; It has one rot spot on the lower left fender, and left rear bed outer fender (see pic). The under side is very nice and solid, with no rot/rust( just light surface rust). This truck is fairly rare with the V8 and 4spd combo, being that most manual stick shifts were slant 6's. The dash is nice, No cracks, but has some light sun fade. The Cab, floor boards and doors, are perfect and Solid, with No rust/rot! The bench seat needs new foam. We have tried to describe the truck as best as we can.
