The body panels appear to be original, and line up good on the doors, hood and headlight buckets. There is a large paint scuff on the driver’s side lower bumper. The rest of the paint is driver quality but still looks good with only some minor chips and checking. The accent decals on the hood and doors are in place with scratches and appear to be original. We have posted many pictures of the body and paint. The frame is typical of a car that has been driven and stored in the Midwest. It is straight and very solid with surface rust, and can be seen in the many pictures that are posted in this ad. The interior is original but still looks good. The driver’s and passenger seats have been replaced and look good. The carpet has also been replaced. The dash and door panels are original look good, and the rear compartment includes the original T-top bags. The seat belts have the date code tags. The bronze tinted roof panels are correct for the Collector Edition the passenger side is original and the driver side is dated 2 months later. Also the pass side panel and the windshield have the VIN# etched into the glass. The wheels and tires are in good condition. One of the center caps is missing on the wheels, but they are available and can be easily found. The tires are correct size and dated late 2006 with 8/32 tread remaining and show no signs of cracking. Believed to be the original jack and spare tire are also included. The car starts, runs, shifts, drives, and stops well. The A/C does not work but all components are present. This is a great entry level Corvette which can be purchased on a NO RESERVE auction. It is a highly desirable Collector Edition, the last of the C3’s. We have posted many pictures that show all areas of this car and encourage all bidders to contact us with any questions you may have.
