Vehicle Detail
Seems to be a rare desired bird.... p and XB code. Well optioned car all... this is a beautiful fiesta red ( very interesting color) with changing light, it seems to change from a pinkish to a peach to red. Please see photos. The car is extremely nice and well optioned car.. in dash tachometer "still works", telescopic steering column, power steering "works", two tone red and white interior, town and country radio "currently not working ", tonneau cover "original", port hole windows, skylight speedometer, power seat, power windows, again, it's loaded.. It is an older restoration so it is not perfect but very very nice. Original low mile car that the restoration started 20years ago was driven to a few shows, registered as a daily in 2012 but never really was... Has been garaged for the last 20-30 years. It is believed, that the interior is all original including the seat and original seat cover.. underneath is as clean as everything else. I will get pics of underneath later in the week. I wouldn't be scared to drive it across country.... if I were spooked by anything, it would be the old bias ply tires. I'm not a fan of how they ride and they're pretty old but they do hold air and I've taken the car on a few couple hundred mile trips. The trim and bumpers are original and never replated.. Very clean car.On Aug-22-18 at 10:06:14 PDT, seller added the following information: **NO RESERVE AUCTION** this car will sell.. THE last picture, is not rust under the paint... it is carpet glue and remnants of the old backing from the old trunk liner. I will post pics of underneath soonOn Aug-24-18 at 10:33:32 PDT, seller added the following information: so I pulled the car up on the ramps yesterday to get pics of underneath. I got a lot but I am unable to edit Photos. I get a message saying that I already have (24) and to add, I must delete....from my phone, it has an edit tab but the delete tab does not function and from a PC, the edit tab does not appear..... all of this to say, if you want to see the pics of underneath, please message me before the end of the auction.... but here is what I will say about the underside. the firewall is in great shape apparently many feel they can be problematic in the firewall around the blower and Batt box THIS ONE IS GREAT. the TRIM TAG is as follows Body = 40A Color=K trim=XB. it appears that the front end was redone with new control arms, ball joints, and Bushings....all looks Brand NEW. rear of the firewall to the floor boards.... the floor pans, have been patched, the rocker panel on one side has had some repairs done "looks like they were dinged up but I see no evidence of rust. rear of the floor pans going up into the trunk pan, is all in great shape and solid. the exhaust is good pipes have surface rust but all (4) mufflers are in good shape. the main structure of the frame is in great shape along with the X cross frame. the brackets from the frame to body are dinged up but are solid. the Engine and tranny were rebuilt... THE ENTIRE UNDERBODY and FRAME, have been coated with a glossy black coating but has overspray here and there from the car being painted. fender wells are in good shape.... anyone that wants to come look at the car, drive it, and or talk about it, feel free to message or call me.... I have nothing to hide and really do not care whether the car sells or not. I am only selling because I can no longer store it..... IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE BIDDING, DO NOT!! I purposely listed with no reserve thinking it would bring proper value and the buyer would be happy....if you do not intend to follow through DO NOT BID!! I have full intentions of this car selling and leaving my property as I no longer have proper storage for it. it is not perfect but it way too nice to be in the weather.
