Vehicle Detail
1999 Chevy Suburban Very dependable and a great interstate riding vehicle. Very smooth ride. It was the vehicle my family took on vacations, even though my wife drove an Infinity. This is the old style square body chevy and we not only felt safe in it but the ride is wonderful and it is so dang roomy that my family chose to take road trips in this rather than our other vehicles. This is a Texas vehicle from day one. The local Chevrolet dealer ordered it for himself and drove it a short period of time, like most dealers do. Keep in mind this thing is almost 20 years old. I would still be driving it but I bought a 1999 Tahoe. I even held onto this suburban for over a month just to make sure I didn't hate the shorter tahoe. Because I would've dang sure sold the tahoe and jumped back into the "burban". But my kids are older and driving themselves so the "burban" is not really needed much anymore. The good, the bad, & the ugly.......I added the nerf barshave installed a new blower motor about a year ago. But once in a while it make a noise for a few seconds when started up.Heat works fineFront AC doesn't blow very cold at all. About a 3 on a scale of 1-10.Rear AC will give you frostbite. About a 9.75 on a scale of 1-10. But since the AC is one unit, not separate, it makes me think the blend door actuator under the dash is out and not letting the cold air flow up front. I installed a Flowmaster 40 and ran duals out behind the tires just for a little deeper sound and I liked the looks of the tailpipes on each side rather than just 1 side. The vehicle doesn't use much oil at all, and water temp holds perfect. The brush guard was installed ordered by the dealer and was powder coated to match the grey on the truck.I added the fog lights but they are out and can easily be removed.Paint is peeling above the passenger side doors and has been for years. And a small spot on the driver side fender. I replaced the daytime running light diode under the dash a few years ago because it went out and I wanted the DRL to work properly.Vehicle drives straight and true and brakes good.I had the fuel pump replaced about 5 years ago at around 150,000 milesGlass is in good shape all around.3rd row seat is about 99.999%. I installed it for the first time ever, to take the pictures.Cup holder in center console is missing.Title is clear and in hand. Tires are just average. Not new or junkOEM key fob works fineCarpet has some stains but has been cleaned. As far as the total vehicle, I would not hesitate to hop in it and drive to either coast.Any other questions please let me know. The front A/C blows nice and cold again, just like the rear A/C.On Aug-18-18 at 07:09:46 PDT, seller added the following information: Added pics of all 4 tires.
