This is a no reserve auction. If opening bid is met, the cycle will sell to the highest bidder. The bike is a mild resto-mod with professional paint and seat upholstery. The bike was completely stripped down and re-built. The frame has been painted. The bike has a carburetor re-build and sync, new plugs and timing set. All cables have been replaced. Front caliper has been refurbished. I've replaced the large turn signals with smaller units but the originals will go with the bike. It has bar end mirrors but I also have the original mirrors. The tires have less than a thousand miles on them. The original exhaust couldn't be saved and it is running 4 into 2 headers and Harley take off mufflers with the original Honda heat shields attached. It sounds great and not obnoxiously loud. The bike only has 4700 miles on it and was a true barn find. It had been sitting since 1981 before me getting it back on the road. It runs very well and I would ride it across town or across the country. I rode it half way around Lake Superior last summer with zero issues. It is sporting a DMV approved vintage 1975 Minnesota license plate. This is the bike that coined the term ‘superbike’ and launched Honda onto the world scene in terms of big-capacity bikes. This bike was so far ahead of anything the likes of Triumph or BSA could produce. As well as being the first production bike with a disc brake, the CB had an electric start, it was an inline four, and was just a massive leap ahead of everything else out there. Bid with confidence!
