Selling a Beautiful 1981 Firebird Trans Am Turbo Edition V8 4.9lt with automatic transmission, with the original drive train with the 10bolt rear end posi 3.08 gears. Runs and drives awesome very dependable I just drove it 3 hours straight with no issues no overheating problems, no pulling no vibrations, one thing I have to mention once in a while it will whistle or make a pitch noise like a vacuum but then goes away, no it does not affect the drivability of the car, the interior is the black deluxe vinyl everything looks in really good shape the back ones are mint, just the front bottoms of the seat the seam or stiches came undone and they split but they are not ripped. Car is equipped with 4 disc brakes and they power, with the radial tuned suspension RTS, car also its factory a/c which is not working because the belt was removed but everything is there to make it work. in my opinion who needs ac when you have T-Tops. Heater works, turn signals, wipers, gauges all work speedo, tach, gas, volt, temp, the oil gauge its always all the way up, has brand new alternator and brand new battery. no oil or antifreeze leaks. T tops glass in good condition. original spare tire and jack in the trunk. These cars are getting very desirable and very popular and they are getting higher in value since they only made 2 years of special edition turbo. automatic windows, power locks, aftermarket cd player with front aux. the turbo trans am is a desirable car for any car collector its one of the best body styles ever produced and many were equipped with lots of options, and for any collector who loves American Muscle cars and the Trans Am body style, you cant go wrong!!!! this Trans Am has never been patched, it has all its original floors, frame connectors, rear frame rails intact no undercoating here to hide stuff they just dusty and have some road grime, its not a show room car!! however its still in great shape. I assume it was painted somewhere in its life because the paint looks good and the decals look newer. it is a really nice cruiser to drive around or take to car shows and be proud and perhaps even win a trophy !! including original manual, and service manual book.
