This is a daily driver quality car, and has no major known defects. This is a 30 year old, rust-free, vintage, German-engineered automobile. It's not perfect, and any defects I've found have been listed below in the condition section. These cars are known for being extremely well-made and designed to last. In fact, the engine was so well made that in 1987, Porsche drove a 944 500,000 kilometers (310,700 miles) in one single year before having the engine tested. It passed every test with flying colors. Also, here is an album with over 100 photos if you would like to see more than the 24 posted here: Additional Photo Album Condition Overall, this car needs nothing to hit the road and be a daily driver. However, here is a list of things I've noticed both good and bad: The good: - No rust. - No known mechanical issues. - No dents or dings in the body. - The majority of everything electrical works fine (window motors, door locks, etc.) - A/C blows cold - Very clean and detailed inside - Original Porsche floor mats in great shape (one rear floor mat missing) - Headlights go up and down fine, all bulbs work except for one side reflector on the side of the front fender. Rear brake lights, turn signals all work. - No check engine light. - Good, dependable, daily driver. The bad: - The battery needs to be replaced. If you let it sit more than 24 hours or so it won't start without a jump. - The belt squeaks for the first minute or so after you start the car, then goes silent after it warms up. - There are a few scuffs, scratches, and clear coat issues shown in the pictures and video. - The seats have seams splits and a couple of small tears. - The vinyl dash has a few places that are peeling and/or cracked. - The clock and cigarette lighter don't work. - The console lid has a few small tears in the cover. - The sunroof control switch will let you go too far back if you hold down the button. You have to let go of the button once you see the sunroof is closed. Not a big deal, but if you don't do it, the sunroof will flap up and down a little while driving at higher speeds and you'll have to push the button to close it. - Odometer doesn't work.
