I have owned this truck for about a year and a half I had it several months before returning home to FL and registering. Mileage is not required on cars over 10 years old in FL. This is why Indiana tagged it as exceeds mechanical limits. has actual miles as shown on odometer. It has been extremely dependable and has always run excellent. Has newer brakes and tires are are load range E 10 plys at about 70% tread. aftermarket 18" wheels. I have been running 5w40 synthetic oil specifically blended for the 6.0 with higher zinc content. Last serviced by OSP diesel in North Kingston, RI. the hands down Powerstroke experts. Also has recent about 5K miles ago lower ball joint and steering is much tighter as well as trans service. Seats are all in good condition, normal wear but no rips or major cracks. 3rd seat is available, but currently in St Augustine, FL. The bad; two weeks ago while traveling 1500 miles from home. the EGR cooler began leaking coolant into the exhaust. this presents as white smoke out the exhaust. The truck did not overheat or run in anyway different. I found a shop to do the EGR delete and waited a week for them to start. They never got to it and decided to try and sell me on an entire top end rebuild. My guys at OSP tell me its impossible to diagnose properly without first fixing EGR cooler. This is an approx 8 hour job and the parts are included to do the EGR delete. Its possible engine also needs head gasket work, but its 100% driveable as is. I have driven 300 miles from Northern Michigan to Muskegon where the truck currently is. Starts, runs, shifts, drives perfect for a vehicle of this age and miles. If does not sell this week, I will drive approx 700 miles to Washington DC area. I am sailing my sailboat to Bahamas this fall and planned to sell anyway in a few months. I will relist in Maryland or will be happy to delivery to DC area for free for a buyer. If something goes wrong on trip, I will refund your deposit no problem.
