Vehicle Detail
1997 Ford E350 extended length high top cargo van with lift. Engine runs well. Great MPG.HD versionExtended (from factory) van bodyHigh top3 brand new (<100 miles) tires and one purchased within 2000 miles. Strong engine and trans, will haul a house, but nothing else to offer! Includes Trailer/Tow package but never used for towing. Odometer shows 389, 224 miles and still being used regularly. I am not sure the accuracy of the odometer.Always well-maintained, this truck covered big miles for us, going coast to coast with copy machines and never missing step. Still a good runner, even in the winter with the engine block heater making for morning starts easier. This one is pretty beat up, but we use it regularly- it's just functional. When used by consumers, they are automatic, this one is not- you have too flip it up and down and the power electric and hydraulic actuation then lifts or descends. Most of them are Braun brand lifts, but I'm not sure if this one is.This one will lift up to about 450-500 lbs, more with "help." This is not luxury transport, the value is in the engine and chassis: AC does not work and it smells of diesel like any old truck. It does drive straight, and we have kept on top of service religiously, including oil changes, tires, brakes, suspension, exhaust, and steering components. It is a monster. Because van chassis and bodies are fairly light, it can haul A LOT. I believe you could fill it with lead and climb a 30 degree rise dragging a boulder, but have not specifically tried this.
