This is a 2005 BMW K1200 LT Motorcycle. It is used but with very low miles for it's age. These bikes routinely hit 100k miles. This one had every option available in 2005 except the 6 disc CD changer. The earlier version had the driver sitting higher, which lead to many drivers having to be on their toes at stops. This is the highly sought after lower seat. I am just under 6ft and my feet sit flat on the ground but also alows for nicer handling. It also has the upgraded dual HID headlights and the push button hydraulic center stand. Everything works, windscreen adjusts with the push of a button. then it has received many expensive upgrades. It has an upgraded windscreen with a kicker. This allows for much less noise and front wind. It has a much nicer and extremely comfortable seat. It is a proper match and has the integrated heat for driver and passenger. It has a custom marine grade cup holder which is heavy duty and very sturdy. Custom rear ball hitch that was very well engineered. The front side markers are the euro version and smoke grey. Very sleek by comparison to the normal amber lenses. The tires are in nice shape and have lots of good life left. Please look at images closely. There is a little clear coat flaking on the front. Look close as it is hard to see.I bought this bike not that long ago. It has a new battery and all the fluids and components have the properly gone over. She rides very smooth and quiet. I would feel comfortable jumping on and taking it cross country. I have gone a bit over the top getting everything just right as this was a 21st birthday present for my son. But of course, he was looking at the same time and decided to trade in his Varago for a sporty bike. So much for him wanting to travel.....I would just keep it but my wife really enjoys the Can-am trike.This is for pick up only.I am sure there are both good and bad things I am forgetting. To keep from getting everyone's time wasted, the $500.00 deposit is not refundable. Please ask everything you need to or come out to see the bike. If you are riding a small bike or have never been on a 'heavy' bike.. you might not want to think that it is a good Idea to jump on this and ride it home... heavy bikes are different and take a bit to adjust.... if you have a heavy bike you know whay I mean.... check the specs.. Full tank of gas and a cup of coffee and you are at 1000 lbs.I have described as best I can. This is used and is "as is".. used but really Nice!
