Bill of sale only as dirt bikes aren't titled in NM. This XR80R is a restored bike in good condition. It is by no means a “concours” quality restoration, but is of decent quality and meant to be used. It starts very easily, runs well, shifts through all the gears. My thought was to use this as a pit bike, but I decided that I didn’t really need another vehicle. Mileage unknown; This bike has clearly been used, but doesn’t appear to have been abused. It is nearly all stock with only the handlebars, levers and kill switch being non-Honda parts. The only missing item is the chain guard that mounts to the swingarm. There is a patch welded to the left side of the frame that appears to have been done in period (see photos), but the welds look solid and there are no cracks around the area. This area of the XR80 frame was prone to cracks and I have seen several bikes with similar patches/braces welded in this location. Completely restored with frame bead blasted, primed, painted and clear coated with correct Honda R119 Fighter Red (sort of an orangey red color that is hard to accurately photograph). The engine has a .010 over Wiseco piston and rings (recently done by previous owner) and new clutch plates. I replaced the kickstarter shaft and installed new gaskets throughout. Rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt forks with new seals, replaced the seat cover (original foam and base). All plastic is original and shows some wear and defects (see photos-welded crack in right side plate, mars and discoloration on gas tank, scratches on fenders) I polished the plastic to regain some of the original color/shine. The plastic is definitely not perfect, but it is NOT painted as I've seen on many bikes of this era.
