Up for sale is my 65 GTO. This is a tempest converted to GTO option. I am selling this due to health reasons. It is a frame off and is 90% done. I have been working on this project for 10 years and have around 40 k invested. All work professionally done by myself. No body shop B/S build here. I installed the front clip temporarily for the listing to give you the buyer an idea what the car looks like. All the panels fit perfect. No more fitting is required. I left the front wheel wells out. Since you will be pulling the front sheet metal off to paint the car any way. This car has NO rust PERIOD! The body has NEW floors complete with braces factory installed from front to back bumper. New wheel houses, new rocker panels inner and outer. New quarter panels, LH fender is new old stock first time installed was on this car. RH fender came from California rust free no patch work. Doors and trunk lid original to the car ,rust free. Original GTO hood in mint condition, look at the fit. Minor body fill and final blocking needs to be done to finish the car. Frame has been sandblasted inside and out and sealed with bridge primer and top coated wit epoxy primer and then low gloss top coat. New body bushings. New suspension, New power drum brakes. Aluminum drums up front asbestos nos delco shoes up front. New emergency brake cables and is working condition. New 400 engine. Douges ceramic coated headers. All new exhaust Restored TRI power. And yes that is an HEI distributor in back of that TRI power just like the factory should have done it. Rebuilt Super T-10 4 spd out of a 68 corvette. code 454. New clutch. Rebuilt open rear all new seals bearings etc. NEW Stainless Gas Tank. All new stainless fuel and brake lines. (inline tube) ALL parts are not pictured. Has a new 4 core A/C radiator. Radiator core support dropped 2 inches to make it look factory. THIS CAR does not overheat and never will. New Kauffman timing cover and water pump with stainless divider plates. Also one more important thing this car does NOT leak anything anywhere period! Parts to finish the car that will be included: 1.new door panels front and rear with trim and gto emblems installed (black) Dash pad original, New repro kick panels 2. Rear re-chrome original bumper with new backup lights. 3. Front re-chrome original bumper. 4. rear seats upper and lower with new covering +front bucket seats/no new covers for front seats you will need to get those. 5. All chrome moldings to finish the car are included. belt line/gutter/wind shield back,door handles etc. vent windows are rebuilt and have new seals. Wheel well moldings (new) rocker panel moldings, new or original (your choice) All emblems (GTO) (new) Door gasket seals (new) Power antenna, New hardware& screw kits. 6. Dash complete with all chrome bezels switches/radio/glove/heater/clock/Dash pad, original 7.All electrical harness front to back. Seat belts 8.New windshield glass upper tint.
