Stunning 2017 Triumph Speed Triple R. This bike was gently broken in, has been seasonally ridden on dry roads, well loved, winterized, and garage kept. The bike has never been dropped, wheelied, or track ridden. The bike runs exactly as it should and has no known problems. The rear tire was replaced after a nail and only has 200-300 miles on it. The bike has followed the regular service schedule at Triumph dealer and I have cleaned the chain between services. There are 2791 miles on the clock. I made a few slight modifications to the bike, all were deeply researched, designed specifically for this model, and carefully installed. An Evotech tail-tidy was installed. Top of the line black adjustable ASV clutch and break levers. SC Projects dual high-mount oval exhausts were instilled. These are slip on cans, the manifold was never touched. The stickers were left off to maintain an original look, I still have them. The exhausts have removable baffles for those that do not maintain a good relationship with their neighbors. They sound wonderful either way. After extensive research, I elected not to re-map the engine fueling as it was deemed not beneficial. I will include the original cans and levers with the sale of the bike. For many, myself included, this is a dream bike realized. The three cylinder engine displaces 1050 cc and produces 140 BHP. The power is available across a broad band and leaves the rider comfortable remaining in a higher gear at any speed. Brembo brakes are paired with an adjustable Ohlins suspension. The bike handles wonderfully, is very flickable, inspires confidence, and is surprisingly light feeling, even at low speed. The 2017 is the last year before they switched over to the digital display, this represents years of development and refinement before the shift in to a "techier" generation. The bike does offer rider modes: road, sport, track, and custom. As far as comfort, it is remarkably good for a sport/naked bike. The ergonomics allow for a multitude of different seating positions and angles depending on your mood. I have been on weekend trips, with long stints in the saddle. The bike does not have cruise control or heated grips. There is a small oil mark on the left side of the frame, I have included this in the photo. Chain grease does tend to get on to the lower guards, this can be easily cleaned with a solvent. My fiancee stated that it was either her on the bike. After receiving no offers, I have elected to sell the bike instead. The bike is sold as is and where is, the warranty is provided by the manufacturer until 3/1/2019 The bike will not be released until funds have cleared my account.
